Stretch & Flow
In Stretch & Flow we practice poses that stretch the muscles and wake up the joints in a gentle way as well as poses to bring energy and focus to your day.
The live classes start at 7:30 in the morning and last 45 minutes, so you can be ready to start your day on time. If 7:30 is too early, you can always book the recording :)
Yin yoga is a calm, meditative type of yoga. The postures are held for a longer period of time (3-5 minutes). In this way, the connective tissue is slowly stretched and hydrated and the joints remain flexible. This creates space in the connective tissue and joints.
Our yin classes have a different theme every week and are sometimes also combined with postures from Qi Gong.
Vinyasa (=flow) is an active form of yoga practice. Yoga poses practiced in a flow. You could think about it as a short dance. Our Vinyasa lessons are meant to be relatively fast and strong to allow you complete relaxation by the end of the lesson. We always offer variations to include most fitness levels, so give it a go! We slowly build up a hatha flow lesson, we start with a meditation and / or pranayama (breathing exercise) followed by a series of postures. There is always a flow in the lesson, usually based on the sun salutation.
The hatha flow class is usually a bit less challenging than a vinyasa class.
